The Five Areas of Identity Theft

One of the most common misconceptions about identity theft is that it only
effects your credit when in fact that is far from the case. In 2005 the FTC
reported that on 28% of Identity Theft frauds reported were financially related.
There are Five Areas of Identity Theft :

1.   Drivers License Identity
DMV

      Potential Issues:
              Criminal records filed under your DMV
                         Identity.

2.          Social Security Identity

      Potential Issues:
              Tax fraud using your social security number

3.    Medical Identity
M.I.B.  ( Medical Information File)

      Potential Issues:
             A.        Could affect employment, insurance, and         
                         Medical Treatment
            B.        Theft of prescription, insurance, medicare
                        Or Medicaid Benefits

4.    Character Identity

      Potential Issues:
              Someone could be committing crimes in your
                       Name.
