K.J. Anderson III is one of the nations leading experts on Identity Theft. He has recently been appointed as the
new president of the Identity Theft Education Center. While others were scrambling to tell people to lock their
mailboxes and shred their credit card statements, Mr. Anderson was warning consumers of the potential health
risks, Social Security and tax issues, financial disasters, and the reality that they could face false
imprisonment as a result of someone stealing their identity. He has helped to implement Identity Theft
Prevention and Mitigation programs which today protect tens of thousands of American’s identities
and even more recently, he has been educating major corporations, hospitals, independent physician practices,
government agencies and small businesses on how to better protect the Identities and Non-public
Information of their employees and customers. Mr. Anderson has traveled extensively across
North America speaking to groups and providing training to many organizations. His primary focus
has been on medical identity theft, FACTA and the Red Flag Rules. In 2005 he was one of the assistants
to John Gardner when Money Magazine said that medical identity theft was a figment of Mr. Gardner’s
imagination. Now since the FTC has stated in the enclosed business alert that the medical community
must comply with the FACTA Red Flag rules he has become one of the nations most sought after
speakers. As a Speaker he has shared stages with the Attorneys General office, the Federal Trade
Commission and numerous law enforcement agencies. His workshops have been used for continuing
education for numerous industries including human resources, mortgage, financial services,
and medical. He has trained hundreds of other groups of law enforcement officers, insurance agents
and companies, Human Resource Managers, Risk Management Professionals, corporate leaders, and
average citizens. He is a member of the prestigious International Association of Privacy Professionals
and he is the Senior Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist for the state of Georgia
accredited by the Institute of Fraud and Risk Management.
He is a single father and an active member of the youth ministry at his church. Although he has
received numerous awards throughout the years his greatest accomplishment second to the birth
of his son Tre is when he was named as a Godly Father of the Year in 2008 at the Historic
Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.
He is the most informed "Identity Theft" specialist I have ever spoken with. I was so impressed with his knowledge on
the subject that I invited him to come and speak with me at my office. I have only recently assumed the position of
President at Piedmont Hospital Federal Credit Union. Along with everything else I am Learning, The Red Flag
Compliance issue was very intimidating to me.
I decided to have Ken assist me with the process. He took over and did it all for me. He came and made a very
thorough, yet condensed, presentation to my board. He spent a couple days in both of our branches doing a risk
assessment of our Credit Union. He put together a report on his finding and recommendations. He wrote our new
policy entitled " Sensitive Information Policy and Identity Theft Prevention Program." He led a one hour training
session for our employees. Each employee was required to attend and sign a new Confidentiality Agreement. He offered
all employees a chance to purchase legal coverage through Prepaid Legal. This was completely optional. I did choose to purchase
this for myself. As president of the credit union, I felt it important to have legal protection.
The only thing I did was furnish Ken with a list of our third party vendors. He prepared a letter and mailed to each of
them.

are unsure about the service, the information and the way Mr. Anderson presents it is very informative and will make
you evaluate your firm's liability. Current laws not only have civil dollar penalties and fines, but can also carry a criminal
confinement. The fine or confinement can relate to management and employees. There is no cure or perfect fix; only ways to
minimize the risk. Our staff due to Mr. Anderson's training is very informed and we are prepared to protect the identity
information of our customers, vendors, and our employees. Mr. Anderson was right even though the forms are nice and the
policy is great to have the training our staff received was impeccable. Who would have ever thought he would come

When my credit card company would listen, I was getting bills from hospitals I had never attended and didn't know which way
was up and which way was down K.J. Anderson was there for me. When my identity was stolen they did everything you would
think of from getting tickets in my name, to getting medical treatment, opening bank accounts and writing bad checks and even
purchasing a car. Having my identity stolen was the worst experience of my life and I pray for those who don't realize just how
serious it is. I was at my desk and a sheriff walked into my job with a warrant for my arrest. I told them it wasn't me and he just

One of the things that my wife and I were concerned about when sending our son off to college was him being so far from home.

removed by KJ) and some of his friends were stopped while at school and accused of underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
